Ordering Information

Ordering online is safe, easy and convenient (Opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round). Once you have decided upon a product, simply click the Add to Cart button and from there you can either Return to shopping or Checkout. When you are ready to checkout, fill out all billing and shipping information and then submit your form.

Changing Payment or Shipping Information, Canceling an Order

If you need to change either your payment or shipping information, or cancel an order that has not yet been processed, e-mail us as soon as possible at info@terrasagestores.com or call us at 845-628-0456.  But please do so as soon as possible because we start processing orders quickly.

Sales Tax

Orders shipped within New York will be charged the appropriate sales tax for the listed zip code on the order.

Packaging and Shipping

Being "a store with a conscious," Terra Sage works to be your one source for all your green lifestyle needs.  We strive to pack and ship your order with minimum materials that lighten environmental impacts.  Therefore, as a policy, we ship orders only when all parts are in and can be shipped together and we do not currently offer rush service. We hope you can respect this process and allow from 2-15 business days for orders to ship.  If, however, we find an item is taking longer to get to us than normal, we will contact you to let you know it may be more time and we will ship the in stock products separately if it's been up to 15 business days. The decision will be up to you.

If you have ordered one case of something or an individual product, and if our vendor offers drop shipping, we will, on occasion drop ship the item to you in order to save it from being shipped twice (once to us and then to you).

Protecting your order during shipping is important to us. We work with experts such as UPS, FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service to ensure your merchandise arrives safely and quickly. Shipping will be charged per order depending on zone it is shipped to and weight.


Currently, we do not ship internationally but hope to do so in the future. Please drop us an email if you are outside the U.S. and would like to order from us so that we know we have interested parties and will work hard at setting up international business.

Gift Packaging

When sending Terra Sage gifts to friends, family and clients, we can gift wrap most items for you and ship them anywhere in the U.S. We'll also include a card with your personal message. The added cost is $6.99 per item*.

When you order the gift wrapping selection at checkout, if you have any special instructions, please call us with details. If there is one item in the cart, we will know to wrap that item and send it as a gift. If there are several items and you've chosen gift wrapping for one of them, we will need more detailed instructions, so please call or email us about your order promptly. If we have any questions, we will phone you.
* Price does not include shipping charges.

Payment

To ensure security of the credit card information required for processing your order, we subscribe to a well-known SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) company for our payments processing system, which offers cryptographic protocols that provide security and data integrity. We use the Authorize.net Payment Gateway, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For your convenience, we also offer PayPal checkout.

Please be aware that if you choose PayPal, you must agree to the terms and conditions for payment of that company, but the return policies and all orders will still be completely handled by Terra Sage. Credit cards processed through Terra Sage will be charged when orders are shipped, not when they are placed.

Privacy Policy

Terra Sage Will Not Sell or Share Your Information

Terra Sage understands the importance of safeguarding your privacy, which is why we use SSL encryption at checkout and Authorize.net for payment processing. Beyond the payment system, outlined above, we will never give or sell your information to any third party outside of Terra Sage (see "Special Exception" amendment below), and there is limited access as to who sees your information within Terra Sage. We may provide general statistics about our customers' purchasing patterns as a group, but this is aggregated information without being personally identifying information.

We pride ourselves on the service relationship that we build with our customers and they will be treated as we ourselves would expect to be treated. By visiting TerraSageStores.com, you are accepting the practices described here in our Privacy Policy.

Special Exceptions

  • Terra Sage may, in the future, use a network of suppliers, i.e. drop shippers, throughout the US to bring you quality green products that we are unable to carry ourselves (e.g. solar energy or heating products, etc.). We will give your information to these companies so that they may ship your product directly to you. They are absolutely never allowed to contact you or use your information in any way besides to ship Terra Sage products to you when you order them.
  • If Terra Sage is ever sold, it is likely that our assets would be acquired by the company that buys us. Assets to be transferred in an acquisition would likely include all of our database information, including customer information.
  • If we are requested to release customer information in order to comply with law, or to protect somebody's rights or safety, we certainly may do so. Also, if we believe fraudulent activity is occurring, we may need to share your information with investigators to protect your or our property.


What Happens With Your Information When You Place an Order

Whenever you place an order at Terra Sage, you'll be using our secure server, which encrypts all of the information you give us before it is even sent to us, preventing any unauthorized access.  We'll request information such as your name, phone number, mailing address, e-mail address, and credit card information so that we may process and ship out your order as soon as possible. Your e-mail address (and sometimes your phone number) allows us to contact you about the status of your order. Sometimes we ask how you found us, or if you liked us, or feedback questions of this nature.

We will use your e-mail information to keep you on our mailing list for any promotions or newsletters that are sent out, but if at any time you would like to be taken off our e-mail list, please just go through the unsubscribe process on any e-mail at any time. We will not bombard your inbox with daily mailings but will send out information we feel may be useful to you.

The Terra Sage Web site will hold your payment data for up to 30 day for your convenience. You will always be able to log into your account, however, for stored contact information. All information is stored on our servers in a secure location.  It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. If your password is compromised, notify us at once.

Unsubscribe to E-mailings

You have the option to opt out of receiving information from Terra Sage. This opt out messaging will appear at the bottom of every email that is sent out. If you no longer wish to take advantage of our Web site mailings, whether it is e-mails, discounts, newsletters, or other promotional offers or materials, e-mail us at info@terrasagestores.com and we will be sure to unsubscribe you.

Personalizing Your Shopping Experience

We keep track of your purchases primarily to ensure you great customer service, but also so that we may occasionally notify you about products, services and changes to our Web site that may be of interest to you. Understanding our customer's shopping preferences also helps us improve the way we present information and products throughout the site. We store the information that you enter about yourself on our site in a totally secure database to which only Terra Sage has access, and that is only to a few limited individuals.
 
Cookie Usage

Cookies are small information files that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies allow you to do things like store items in your shopping cart between visits and allow us to remember your user name and e-mail address so you don't have to enter it every time you visit the site. However, if your Web browser does not accept cookies, you can still visit and use our store. Be aware that without cookies you might lose items in your shopping cart, or have to re-enter all your contact information in time you visit.

Returns and Exchanges

It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with the condition and quality of your purchase from Terra Sage.  To return a damaged or flawed item, ship it back to us within 14 days of receipt via insured mail, FedEx or UPS. We will gladly refund the cost of the item.  For damaged and defective returns, Terra Sage will pay for the return shipment. Please fill out the information from the packing slip and include it in your package.

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color or new item, please send it to us as requested above and we will pay the freight back to you on the exchange. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Returned items must be in resalable condition, unopened, and must be returned with the original carton, packaging and receipt. Used personal care products, undergarments, consumable goods, earrings and also water bottles, water and air filters (once used), unless defective, cannot be returned. Clothes can be tried on, but returns will not be accepted if soiled or washed. Restocking fees may apply. Please send returns and exchanges to:

Refunds

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, though it normally will be less than this. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).  Your refund will be applied to the original method of payment. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Product Descriptions and Quality

Terra Sage will provide descriptions of the products available on the web site to the best of our ability.  In addition, we have taken great care to ensure the photographs of the products we sell on the site are accurate. Please be aware that because of the nature of many of our products and variations in computer monitor settings, there could be small differences in the colors viewed on your monitor and the actual color of the products ordered.  Items that are handmade are rarely exactly alike and are to be enjoyed for their unique qualities. Some items may have updates and have different packaging when you receive them than what is pictured on the site.
