Terra Sage’s Heart of Sage Program is a way for us to highlight those companies who give a little more, or a lot more, to support environmental and philanthropic causes they believe in. Our Current Hall of Fame includes:

Alaska Mud Co. LLC —gives 10% of their profits to wilderness preservation, habitat restoration, sustainable community development and environmental education programs.

Dr. Bronner's—All profits not needed for business development or debt retirement are dedicated to supporting various progressive causes and charities—from fresh water wells in Ghana to orphanages in Haiti and China; from helping organic farm projects to donating over 1,200 acres of land to the San Diego County Boys and Girls Club.

Himalayan Institute—donates all proceeds from the purchase of the Neti Pot to directly support the Institute's far-reaching humanitarian, environmental, and educational projects.

Imus GTC—gives 100% of all profits from their cleaning products to the Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids with Cancer, located in New Mexico.

Seventh Generation—dedicates 10% of their profits to non-profit community, environmental, health, and responsible business organizations working for positive change.

Putumayo World Music - has contributed to many non-profits doing good work in regions where the music originates. For the past years, Putumayo has focused its non-profit efforts on various local as well as international NGOs working in different parts of the world.

Verilux® - gives to many non-profit organizations, including to help build solar energy for electricity in Sudan schools as well as donating lighting to rehabilitation and housing services. Verilux® donates $1 from the sale of each bulb package to national environmental organizations.

Also, even though we’ve just started ourselves, we believe giving is an important part of the process. So we have started a fund to contribute, too! Watch us as we grow.

Environmental Working Group - www.ewg.org
Organizational Goals are:
1. To protect the most vulnerable segments of the human population—children, babies, and infants in the womb—from health problems attributed to a wide array of toxic contaminants.
2. To replace federal policies, including government subsidies that damage the environment and natural resources, with policies that invest in conservation and sustainable development.
